Silly Boy

Logan was suppose to be taken a nap, but he decided he didn't want to. So Lyra and I went into the room to "talk" to him. Lyra put the sheet on him and he LOVED it.

Boy he is getting to big way to fast. Can't believe he will be 3 months old tomorrow.
Look at the smile. He is started to figure out how to laugh. It is way to cute. Can't wait till he gets it down good :)

Tuesday's play-date

Tuesday we went to watch "Shorts" with the Quills. It was Logan and Lyra's first time at a movie theatre. Logan slept the whole time and Lyra enjoy the candy and popcorn, but the movie didn't capture her attention. Good thing she brought her baby doll inside to entertain herself. After the movie was over we went back to the Quill's to have a play-date.

Above: Lyra and Logan waiting for the movie to start.
Below: Lyra eating a banana Popsicle.
Leksi and Lyra eating their Popsicles. Aren't they beautiful princess'?
Logan was enjoying his Ricci time. He actually laughed for the first time when Liberty was barking. It was to cute :)
Garrett waited so long to have another boy around. Logan is really going to look up to him, I can just see it now.

Helping with feeding

Monday evening I caught Lyra feeding Logan his bottle. Guess she missed him while she was at Granny and Papa's for the weekend.

Jason and I are so blessed with two wonderful kiddos!

And of course, Lyra had to take a picture of Logan. She always does such a good job.

Leksi and Lyra

Thursday Leksi came over to play with Lyra. They get along so well with one another and usually don't fight over toys. They still have some moments though because both are stubborn :)

Above: I had to capture this picture even though Lyra will one day hate me for it. She was just having issues with her shorts that day. They use to fit, but now that she wears panties some of her shorts are to big.
Below: Leksi playing with Sandy. Now that she's older Sandy loves to play with her.
Sorry Ricci but I had to add this picture since Lyra took it. Looks like you are enjoying your sandwich :)
Leksi, you are getting way to big and becoming a young lady.
Silly girls!!!

Wednesday night Fun

On Wednesday we had a small get together with my Aunt Patsy, Kara, James and Alex. Our menu was Spaghetti, salad, garlic bread, and Oreo No Bake Pie. We had a great conversation and Lyra and Alex had a great time playing. They play so well with one another.

Above: Kare holding Logan for the first time. She doesn't like holding babies but couldn't resist holding Logan. Logan thought she did a great job and dozed off in about 10 minutes.
Below: Alex trying to teach Lyra the "hand game." Finally he gave up and said, "Lyra is this to difficult for you?" Lets just say we all busted out laughing after that :)
Alex popping his collar.
Two thumbs up!

Last week

Last week was a very interesting week. Everyone got sick and it started out with Lyra. I had to call my Mommy to come help, because I'm not use to having a sick child and an infant. I'm still learning all of this :)

Above: Lyra taking a breathing treatment. She had to wear her sunglasses because the steam was hurting her eyes. (so she said)
Below: Lyra captured this picture of Logan. We were trying to keep her away from him, but it wasn't working. She just loves her brother way to much to stay away from him.
All clean!!!
Finally Lyra started feeling better. I saw this picture perfect moment and had to be quick. Turned out GREAT!!!!
What's wrong with my sweet little boy? If you guess he was hungry, you are CORRECT!!

Lunch with Memaw

Today Memaw came by and we went to lunch. It was so much fun because it was Memaw, Madison, Cheyenne and all of us. What a great visit :)

Love them!

Above Lyra is being silly. I really never know what's she's going to be wearing when she comes out of her room. This time she is actually wearing her baby dolls onesie. I can't believe she got it on, it's a size 3month :)

Lyra captured this picture of Logan.

She's such a great big sister. She has to hold Logan everyday at least once. He loves her too!

Logan sat in his chair for the first time. He thought he was big stuff!

Logan loves his bath time. He's always in such a great mood when we get done.

ToysRUs gift card

Gramma and Grandpa sent Lyra a ToysRUs gift card for being a big girl and being potty trained. Tonight we took her and she got to pick out whatever she wanted. We just directed her to the pool/beach stuff and she went to town.
She got a HUGE boat full of sand tools, swimming floaties, Fish ring, goggles, princess sandwich bags, princess ring pops, and a fish gummy sucker thingy (what she's holding). She didn't do bad at all, and she even has a few dollars left on the card.

Thank you Gramma and Grandpa!

Happy 4th of July!

Above: Lyra and Logan chilling out before the celebration begins.
Below: We are waiting for the fireworks to begin at the park. The local newspaper editor came by to take a picture of Lyra to publish in the Weatherford Daily News. Kristy is going to get us a copy :)

Taking a picture with my "Little Man" on his first 4th of July.

Kristy was kind to take a picture of Jason and I. What do you know, it actually a good picture of us :)

Me with both of my babies. I love them so much!!!

Logan Jay

All dressed up for the 4th of July. Such a handsome little man!
Logan is still in bed on his first 4th of July. He doesn't know what's all planned for the day.

Watching Mommy and Kristy preparing the food for the cookout. It was YUMMY!!!

At the park talking to Mommy before the fireworks. I tried to catch some of the noises on video, but the music was way to loud.

There was so much to look at :)

Lyra Belle

Above: Lyra doing her first sparkler. She thought it was fun until it got half done, then she wanted to hand it back to Jason.

Below: Lyra waiting at the park (in her new "princess" chair) for the fireworks to begin.

Can't you tell she likes her push-up pop? I just love the expression on her face, it's saying, "Look what I got!"

Lyra thought that the fireworks were really loud. She had to have either Daddy or Mommy hold her the whole time. Poor thing, maybe next year she will enjoy them more.
