Not feeling any better :(

Poor Miss Lyra still isn't feeling any better. All day today her temp was anywhere from 101.2-102.8. She still has her cough and a runny nose. Her poor nose is red due to the amount I have to wipe it. Go AWAY nasty thick green stuff!

If She's not better first thing in the morning, I am calling the doctor's office. Hopefully this time they will be able to tell me what's going on. I just hate seeing her like this and it kills me to see her in pain. I know it has to be something b/c the Tylenol and Zyrtec isn't helping.

Thanks for everyone that's been sending this wishes Lyra's way. She has been getting hugs and kisses from each and everyone of you :)Poor Teddy Ruxpin doesn't feel good either. Lyra put him to down for a nap this morning.

Poor Miss Lyra

Poor Miss Lyra is sick. She's had a cough since Thursday night, but we thought it was just because she was drooling alot due to cutting her 2 year molars. But Saturday she started to have a runny nose and a small fever. Sunday the fever just got higher as the day went on, so I called the doctors right at 8 this morning. They squeezed her in at 8:30 but couldn't find anything wrong. They did a screp test but that came back negative. They want us to keep giving her Tylenol and Zyrtec and if the fever hasn't gone away by Wednesday we need to bring her back in for some blood work and urine test. Hopefully it will start breaking tonight or tomorrow. As of right now she is just VERY clingy. Her fever is staying around 101 degrees and her nose if flowing a river.

Keep her in your prayers tonight. We ALL need sleep tonight. Last night noone slept.

Father's Day

We spent Father's Day out in Lipan. Lyra wanted to get pictures taken for her Daddy so he could put them in his office. Jason loved it and took it to work the very next day. The ladies really loved see how much she has changed :) Guess we did a good job on that one.

Ward Family Reunion

We had a great time at the Ward Family Reunion this year. It was at Montauk State Park in Missouri. This was Lyra's first time to attend this reunion since it takes place every other year. In 2007 we didn't make it since Lyra was only 10 days old. Lyra loved feeding the fish and taking long walks. She was on the go from sun-up to sun-down. As you can see from the pictures, she was exhausted on our trip home.

Lyra's 2nd Birthday

For Lyra's 2nd Birthday we celebrated at Chuck E Cheeses with Granny and Aunt Cindi. What a great time! Then on Saturday we had a Care Bear birthday party with lots of friends and family. Thanks to every for sharing this special moment with us. Lyra had a great time and enjoyed all of her presents.
